I am 17 and am in desperate need of advise on housing. ?

I am mentally unstable and no longer able to live at home, and have no idea where to look for advise or help. I also have nowhere else to go. I am at college and would like to stay there if possible, but i know this is unlikely. Please help me I have no idea where to even start.I am 17 and am in desperate need of advise on housing. ?
Contact the homeless charity 'shelter' they should be able to give you advice on this sort of thing.





You could also refer yourself to social services as they may be able to help or contact 'mind' the mental health charity and see if they can help.

Step 1 - Go see a doctor and get on some type of medication to help your condition.





Step 2 - Find a job that pays you so you can cover your rent





Step 3 - Find an apartment that you can afford.





You should contact the mental health board in the county to live in as well. They should be able to help you out. Good luck.
If you have an academic counselor, check with him/her.


Check with your family doctor about medical help and referals to various government and private programs for help. If your college has a medical center, check with them also.
a local church or other religious institution may have an outreach program. check the phone book. you often do not need to be a member of the faith to request help.
you can go to the housing office but i think you have to be 18 to put name on list...try any advice centre like citizens advice there really good there and they phone up for you..
try your local council, if they cant help im sure they would put u in the right direction, hope this helps and good luck, xx
