Before you ask about useful phrases, learn the 4 tones first. Learn to read pinyin, too. What are some useful phrases in Mandarin? What would you advise learning first?
Easily the most important are:
Bu Yao = I don't want. (It's not rude to refuse in this manner)
Duo shao (qian)? = How much(money)? (When asking the cost of items)
Hao = Good
Bu hao = Bad (never say this about someone's products, just stick to don't want)
Xie xie = Thank you.
As you can see Bu means no. Hao means good.
Numbers 1-10= Yi Er San Si Wu Liu Qi Ba Jiu Shi
10- 19 = shi yi, shi er, shi san.....shi jiu. Basically saying 10-1 , 10-2, 10-3.... and so on. Shi being 10 so we just say 10 plus smaller number.
Try picking up a few from the link, written in basic pinyin for you to learn, otherwise a small pocket phrasebook with Chinese characters allowing you to point to the Chinese is incredibly useful when first arriving. What are some useful phrases in Mandarin? What would you advise learning first?
My suggestions:
1. Thanks.
2.Please.
3.Sorry.
4.My name is XXX
5.I'm from XXX
6.Hello.

One of my daughters friend had also advised stress oil can you advise me from where I can get?
Please advise a place from Karwar to MangaloreOne of my daughters friend had also advised stress oil can you advise me from where I can get?
It can be annointed on the pulse points. like behind the knee, inside the elboy, wrists and the back of your neck. I suppose it works through aromatherapy as well.
If you want to be massaged by it, get some cooking oil that is good for the skin like olive or almond (if im not mistsaken - check into that because i get brain farts from time to time) and then just add enough for a good scent. Not too much because the point of diluting is so that it wont irritate your skin.As far as the oil blend itself - it is basically aromatherapy. Different oils are thought to have different properties, so take lavender for instance, the scent alone should have a calming effect. Used in conjunction with a bit of pressure point massage and/or reflexology can help relieve a number of ailments (both physical and emotional).

I need strategys for remembering how allowed/aloud and advice/advise should be used?
How to create a strategy for remembering how allowed/aloud and advice/advise should be used.I need strategys for remembering how allowed/aloud and advice/advise should be used?
Aloud has the word ';loud'; in it, and its when your speaking and you could be speaking loudly.
Advise = to give helpful suggestions. It has an ';s'; in it, and self starts with an ';s'; and self is the one giving the suggestions (I am giving the suggestions, not recieving them).
Advice: a helpful suggestion. I remember this one b/c it has a ';C'; in it and coches give advice to their teams.
Hope this was helpful.I need strategys for remembering how allowed/aloud and advice/advise should be used?
You just need something for 1 of each pair...so if you can remember these...it should help. Look at the caps in the following:
LOUD...is aLOUD
Counselor's give adviCe
Aloud is dealing with sound and Allowed is dealing with rules.
I spoke aloud.
I am not allowed to speak.
Advice is something you give and Advise is something you do.
She gave me advice about the test.
I advised her to take the test.
aloud-when u say something aloud, it is loud
Im sorry, but I dont no how to help with the others. May I suggest writing the definition on ur hand....JK

I am going to Hollywood in October and I need advise on what i should definately visit while im there. ???
any suggestions?I am going to Hollywood in October and I need advise on what i should definately visit while im there. ???
There are literally hundreds of things to do here in LA. Here is my top ten list:
Disneyland: The Happiest Place on Earth. Half a billion visitors can鈥檛 be wrong. (Sometimes it seems all at once)
Universal Studios: A theme park that grew out of a studio tour. And Universal City Walk is a fun place to hang out in the evening after your day inside the park.
Hollywood: Hollywood Boulevard is ready for its close-up, thanks to years of urban renewal and renovation. Enjoy the Walk of Fame, Entertainment Museum, Chinese Theatre and more. You can see a lot for free. The Hollywood %26amp; Highland complex has lots of shops and restaurants, and the Kodak Theater (home of the Academy Awards). I also like the El Capitan theater, because it has been restored to its former glory.
Rodeo Drive, 90210: Packed with exclusive shops, full of gawkers. They all came to enjoy the excess. Free, unless you intend to buy something.
Venice Beach: Los Angeles kitsch and over-the-top culture at its best. Here you'll find Muscle Beach, street performers and tacky shops galore. Fun, VERY interesting, but I avoid it after dark, when it gets a little TOO interesting for my taste. And it's a short bike ride from Santa Monica Pier.
Santa Monica Beach and Pier: Great beach scene and a classic seaside amusement park, complete with antique carousel that has been in a lot of TV and movies. (The Sting and ';Three's Company'; come immediately to mind). After visiting the pier, you can ride a bike south a couple miles to Venice Beach.
Santa Monica Third Street Promenade - Downtown Santa Monica's shopping promenade is often the scene of movie star-sightings. Just a short walk from the Santa Monica Pier.
Sunset Boulevard: Perhaps one of the world's most famous streets, it began as a route between the stars' posh neighborhoods and the Hollywood studios. It runs from downtown to the ocean, passing through the ';Sunset Strip'; on its way. It makes for a fun drive. Along the way, you see a lot of different neighborhoods: Hollywood, West Hollywood, Bel Air, and Pacific Palisades. When you get to the ocean, stop at Gladstone's for Fish.
Queen Mary: Once the largest ship afloat, she's been docked in Long Beach for longer than she sailed, and her elegance never fails to impress. Free to visit. You can actually stay on board, for a price.
Farmers Market and The Grove - A new shopping complex right next to a Los Angeles landmark, The Grove and Farmers Market coexist. Enjoy a movie or shopping, and then take the trolley to the Farmers Market for lunch or dinner. It is right next to CBS, so walk across the lot to see if they are taping ';The Price is Right';. You might even get in.
TAAB: The Americana at Brand- The newly opened TAAB, developed by the same group that gave us The Grove, breathes new life into Glendale, and gives all those hip people in Eagle Rock and the eastern half of LA a great place to go.
Griffith Park - Home of the Los Angeles Zoo, Griffith Park Observatory, Travel Town, the Greek Theatre, and Gene Autry Museum of Western Heritage.
Getty Museum - The Getty's architecture is so beautiful that it keeps me fascinated. No matter whether you like their art or architecture better (or maybe you'll just enjoy the view), the Getty is sure to please. Free.
Attend a TV taping - You can get free tickets at audiencesunlimited.com, tvtix.com, or see the booth at Universal City walk. It's very interesting to see a show being taped. The most popular, by far, is the Tonight show with Jay Leno. Check the NBC web site for all the details there.
Places to eat:
In-N-Out Burger: Multiple locations, best burger in LA, ask anyone.
Pink鈥檚 Hot Dogs: 709 N. La Brea, just north of Melrose. You might even see a celebrity. Maybe.
Tommy鈥檚 Chili Burgers: Look for the shack, an LA tradition. The original location is at Beverly %26amp; Rampart, a couple miles west of downtown.
Canter鈥檚 Deli: 419 N. Fairfax, between Beverly %26amp; Melrose. Near CBS, you might spot a celebrity.
Phillippe鈥檚: 1001 N. Alameda. Great roast beef sandwiches. Near Union Station and Olvera Street. Watch the mustard, it鈥檚 hot.
The Pantry: Corner of Figueroa and 9th, downtown. Huge portions, they never close, GREAT steak and eggs.
Places to Stay:
Since LA is so spread out, there is no single place that is close to EVERYTHING. Most people who come here tend to stay in Hollywood, Santa Monica, or Anaheim.
In Hollywood, I recommend the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood and Highland, the Best Western Sunset Plaza, or the Holiday Inn Walk of Fame.
In Santa Monica, the Holiday Inn Santa Monica is close to the pier and reasonably priced.
In Anaheim, I recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) Anaheim, and the Candy Cane Inn. If you want to splurge and make this a most memorable trip, stay at Disney鈥檚 Grand Californian. You get the full Disney experience.
Places to Shop:
Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica
The Grove, Los Angeles

Beverly Center, Los Angeles
Citadel Outlets, Commerce
Brea Mall, Brea
The Block at Orange, Orange
South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa
Fashion Island, Newport Beach

See the Pantages theater. Universal Studios is also good. See Grauman's Chinese theater. Eat some food. Walk around, see the walk of fame. If you go to the Pantages, see Wicked. You can take some really stupid tours, but I'd say its a waste of cash. Just take in the sights. If you like aviation, drive north a few hours and visit my town! Home of NASA Dryden and Edwards AFB! And USAF Plant 42. Or if you prefer, you can see where some celebrity lives. Its all good...
ok i haven't been there but i watched a show called haunted hollywood, and you should really visit one of the many haunted places there!!!

Old cat and New cat don't get along, please advise?
I got a new cat last night from the shelter. (male 9 mos). My resident cat (which I got from the shelter 2 weeks ago does not
like him (at all!). Resident cat is 2 year old female). I have New cat in my bedroom, separated from Old cat. But I had to sleep in living room on floor last night to keep Old cat from meowing.
She is fine when I am with her. A few times Old cat burst unsuspectingly into my bedroom while me and New cat were
snuggling in bed, and attacked New cat. Is there any chance of these two being friends? I can take New cat back today to shelter and exhange him. He is a nice cat, though. But I cannot envision these two ever getting along. Old cat simply doesn't want him around me. At present, they continue to be separated. I live in one bedroom apartment and do not have a lot of time to work with this weekend. Thanks.
Old cat and New cat are Missy and Raccoon, respectively.Old cat and New cat don't get along, please advise?
This is totally normal and to be expected. Missy is acting exactly as she is supposed to when you bring a strange cat home. It's too soon to tell how well they will get along. You need to properly introduce them and that can take a couple weeks or more.
While some people will say just put them together and let them work out their differences I don't believe in that. Bad first impressions can be long lasting.
Put Raccoon in a small room like the bathroom. Give him food, water, litter box, toys %26amp; close the door and let him get used to the smells and the sounds of your house. Shut the door. The only contact Missy should have with Raccoon is by smelling under the door and playing footsie if they can get their feet under the door. No direct eye contact.
I could explain the the rest of the process but there are a couple articles that do it so well that I'm just going to give you the links. Slow integration is the best way to insure that the cats will get along well and if you're lucky become best friends. Check these out they are tried and proved methods and hints:

Be sure to show Missy lots of attention and give her extra play time and treats. The problem is she thinks she's being replaced. You showed her that when you let the new guy sleep with you on the first day. Snuggling in bed with the new cat is a big NO-NO! ! ! Never let her see you giving the new kitten affection, not yet.
(I once had a cat that slept with me every night. I let a foster kitten sleep with me for just a short Saturday afternoon nap. He saw that and wouldn't even come on my bed for 3 months)
Even when you start putting them together Missy and even Raccoon are not going to like how the other cat smells. Start now by putting a dab of vanilla on each cat on the back between the shoulder blades and further down at the back of the tail.(refresh it every few days or so) That way if they accidently get together they will smell the same to each other and things may go more smoothly.
When you start letting them in the same room together there will hissing, growling and even maybe some fighting. But if you use the methods in the links I gave you this should mostly be gotten out of the way before they start interacting together.
It's too bad you didn't get the new kitten when you had more time to work on this but it's not too late and that doesn't really matter right now because they shouldn't be together anyway. Don't take the new cat back to the rescue yet especially if you really like him. It will be the same no matter what kitten you bring back.
The only reason I would consider taking him back at this point would be if Raccoon is a really dominant cat. Two dominant cats in a household never make for a good mix. Hopefully he's a more laid back easy-going guy.
If for some reason you do decide to take him back, if you want them to become friends, they have to be compatible. Sociability, lust for adventure, activity level and tolerance all play a part in determining this.
Best of luck.Old cat and New cat don't get along, please advise?
I am thinking it is not the new cat that is the problem and more of the old cat. I think that maybe the old cat is getting jealous maybe you should stick to having one cat. maybe exchange old cat. Maybe keep both cats and give it time. i am not usre what to do but good luck and pick me for best answer.
well ur old cat doesnt like it coz u brought something new in the house so its of course jeaslous. i dont really think they will get along. i brought home my kitty and my dog was few years old and they still dont totally like each other but they dont attack each other mayb they have to get use to one another.
are they both spayed and neutered,it will take about 3 weeks to see prop if they get on.are cats timid sort or outgoing.try rubbing them both with same towel to get there scents on each other, but if your female is timid she might not get on,try leaving a bit longer, get a plug in feliway diffuser
im not surte about cats but i have a 5 year old dog and a 8 month old puppy. at first they growled at each other but we kept them together in the same room. they now dont go anywhere without each other. so dont seperate your cats whenever your around. also dont take it back because most cats are put to sleep. thanks for adopting a cat:)

I have a few small blisters on my face, any advise?
i went to bed and my eye was watering but ignored it and so i woke up with a few blisters on my face. the big one being right under my eye. and i want rid of them quickly with no scabs or scars. i dont know what kinds of medicines make it better, or if there is some kind of at-home-remedy for it, or if i should leave it alone. but your advice would be appreciated. thank you.I have a few small blisters on my face, any advise?
I have never heard of blisters on ones face so you have me a bit baffled. First of all keep it very clean and wash several times a day. Be careful of what you use near your eyes. Dr. Oz once said on Oprah not to put anything on your skin that you would not put in your eye so be careful. Do you have a drug store you can call and ask them (the pharmacist) what they would recommend. Good luck but be kind you won't get another face. Hugs!I have a few small blisters on my face, any advise?
I may be Impetigo. The most common cause of impetigo is Staphylococcus aureus. However, another bacteria source is Beta hemolytic streptococcus. These bacteria lurk everywhere -- in unclean bathrooms, in spoiled food, and even in our own bodies. For example, if a child with an open wound or fresh scratch bathes in an unscrubbed basin or tub, he or she may contract impetigo. Using a towel or even a bar of soap previously used by a person infected with impetigo can spread the infection. Other skin-related problems, such as body lice, insect bites, fungal or bacterial infections, boils or various forms of dermatitis, can make a person susceptible to impetigo. Children tend to get it on the face, especially around the nose and mouth, and sometimes on the arms or legs. The infected areas appear in patches ranging from dime to quarter size, starting as tiny blisters that break and expose moist, red skin. After a few days the infected area is covered with a grainy, golden crust that gradually spreads at the edges. I would suggest you visit your doctor so he/she can prescribe you antibiotics.
Leave it alone or it may scar! and go to the doctor before u die!
I would suggest you visit your doctor so he/she can prescribe you antibiotics.

make sure that you weigh yourself too figure out if you are actually overweight%26gt; you need to know if you have to loose or tone up.
Eat right, more of proteins, boiled eggs(no yolk0,green salad, fruits, juices, less of carbs n drink water.
start excersing- you can just start with aerobics, you'll like it! i think you too young for rigrous weight workout! tc n b happy ..x elyIm 14 and I want to exercise and lose weight, what exercise would you advise?
Talk to your doctor if you can. If not, try following some moves in 17 or other teen mags. They usually come with dieting tips as well, so it's very helpful.
the only healthy way to lose weight is to eat healthy and do cardio. Running, swimming, cycling, fast paced walk, rollerblading, things like this that keep your heart rate up. Do some form of cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-60 min each time and you will be on the right track. oh and be sure to drink lots of water!
I would suggest swimming. Its fun, it burns off alot of calories and it doesnt feel like excercise!
I lost some weight by Swimming and cardio 3 times a week.
Just make sure your eating well balanced meals. Cut out junk food, try and switch to low fat foods and drink more water. Try to add in simple things to your daily routines, walk instead of getting a lift, take the stairs etc.
Good luck :)

If you need to get a police clearance from Taiwan you can go to Taiwan Embassy and the embassy will request it from Taiwan.
go to department and ask for your clearance records, file or hire lawyer, pay money if you know the people
I'm sorry you have been trying to get your question solved so many times, but I was able to find a solution. Check my source too (from a Pinay, I think). Go back to your Taipei Rep in Manilla and ask if he has the application, because he should.

I use to be laid back and lots of fun but now i see myself as not always serious and never thinking anything is funny kinda uptight? what happend? i wanna be easy going and free again and i'm only like that when i drink! could it be caused by stress? any ideas? Please Help me!How Do I ? Advise Please!!!?
maybe you just need to get high. lol nah it could just be stress or taking things way too seriously. you just need to let it go, take things with a grain of salt. let it roll off your back, that type of stuff. dont over-analyze things just take it as it is. live only for the pleasures of the moment. be happy, carefree every once and while and then things will come together for u.How Do I ? Advise Please!!!?
Yes to stress. Change you life. Your life is living you and your not living your life.
You are suffering from depression %26amp; Tension also, so, follow these :
Depression, Tension %26amp; Increase of will-power.
Increasing the will-power : Our mind has a great effect on these glands. For example, continuous fear damages the Pituitary gland and makes one timid. Similarly, tension and worry disturb the Pineal gland and so leads to high B.P. and as Pineal gland controls other glands it also disturbs other glands and digestive system. In modern times, strees-tension or worry-fear have increased and they often disturb these endocrine glands. If these endocrine glands are not treated immediately, it might lead to malfunctioning of other glands of the body. As these glands are interrelated, whenever one gland is disturbed, the other glands also get disturbed. So, when you press on the pointsof these endocrine glands you will feel pain on points of more than one gland especially in case of chronic diseases. Therefore, it is very improtant to give Acupressure treatment on all the endocrine glands and keep them under proper control.
These glands also control the mind (the will-power). So in order to get rid of bad habits like smoking, drinking, drug addiction or even overeating, it is extremely necessary to give treatment on all endocrine glands for at least, fifteen days. Because, these people lack the necessary will-power to give up bad habits, they often break their vows to stop such bad habits and so they are considered unreliable. However, a treatment of fifteen days will give them necessary will-power to stop these bad habits after that. And they will be free from the withdrawal symptoms of stopping these bad habits.
Nervous tension : In the modern days because of fast life and loss of contentment, nervous tension keeps on building up increasingly, tending to damage our mind and health.
How to find out : Ask the patient to lie down on the back and ask some one to press on the base of the middle toe in both the legs. If there is a hurting sensation,it means nervous tension. If the hurting is unbearable, it means that the person is on the verge of collapse and needs immediate attention.
C U R E : (1) While the patient is lying on the back, bend all the toes of both legs, backward. It may hurt but give little more pressure and bend them as much as possible. Repeat this three times a day till the tension is removed.
(2) Clasp your hands tightly interlocking the fingers. Then with left hand fingers press on the back of the right hand and then with right hand fingers, press on the back of the left hand. repeat for about 1 to 2 minutes, 3 to 4 times a day.
(3) Insomnia : The above mentioned treatment can be taken for 5 to 12 minutes at night in bed to ensure good sleep and cure insomnia.
(4) Take 2 glasess of gold/cilver/copper charged water reduced from 8 glasses of water daily.
(5) Kali Phos 1 m (a Biochemic medicine) : Take 8 pills in the eveining between 8 to 9 p.m. for 10 days, then once a week. After 10 days Kali Phos 12 x 4+4 pills every day. Complete course is of 45 days.
It might be stress, maybe you could talk to someone about how you feel. Or you write down how you feel just to get it out. Otherwise just go out and do something that makes you happy

Why do counsellers state that they can not give advise, when this is what I am paying them for??
I fully believe it is because of legal and thats all!!!, Otherwise I am sure advise would flow like a riverWhy do counsellers state that they can not give advise, when this is what I am paying them for??
go see a different counselor who can help you...thats what i did now she actually gives me advice instead of saying ';hmmm...well...interesting'; all the timeWhy do counsellers state that they can not give advise, when this is what I am paying them for??
A good therapist will not tell you what to do with your life. The key is it is YOUR life. Giving advice is antithetical to therapy!
Giving advice robs you of your power to be in charge of your own life.
A good therapist or counsellor will help you sort it out, help you discover what you want to do, what stops you from doing it, what motivates you to take action, why doing that which you want to do is important for you, and will help you better understand the consequences of your actions.
Your mum, your friends, even strangers will tell you what to do. Its easy for them to made descisions about your life, they don't have to live with the aftermath.
In a nonjudgmental manner your therapist/counsellor will listen to you, and guide you to explore why something is important to you. They will help you accept, understand, and be responsible for the choices you make.
Now, isn't that more valuable than just being told what to do?!
the one counselor i had gave me a great advice when she recommended for me to move to another higher level class, which God saved me money and time.

I am having this sharp pain in my side, what could it be. Kidneys, appendicitis? Please advise?
it has been happening on and off for about a week. Sometimes it's really painful.I am having this sharp pain in my side, what could it be. Kidneys, appendicitis? Please advise?
This happens to me when I'm low on iron, and it ends up going away after I take an iron supplement. Try that if you don't get much iron in your diet, but you really should see a doctor.I am having this sharp pain in my side, what could it be. Kidneys, appendicitis? Please advise?
When I had an attack of appendicitis years ago I was in college and thought it was food poisoning. Dragged myself to the infirmary and the doctor rushed me to hospital for an emergency appendectomy.
I felt very nauseous and sweating and dizzy, as I recall. No pain in the side, maybe in the abdomen. Never had a kidney stone attack but have heard others say it is a bad pain in the side. I am guessing a kidney stone or something else. You should search the web and get a better idea. Then call a nurse and get more specific. Unless you have good insurance, getting treatment might be impossible. Better just drink a little water, take an aspirin.
if it is on your right side down low by your hip kinda by your groin, it could be your appendix, take your hand and push in, if it feel better, then let go fast and if you get the sharp pain again it is your appendix, to to the hospital ASAP, and if not then make an appointment with your doc, and have your self checked out
The kidneys would be closer to your back. Your liver is in the upper right quadrant, and the appendix is the lower right quadrant. If the pain is in the extreme lower right side of your body, near/below the waistline, then you could have appendicitis. I would go to the doctor immediately.
any type of intense sharp pain in your side should be addressed by a doctor. No one can say for sure..see a physician. I have had kidney stones where I had INSTENSE SHARP pain in my side. but with a kidney stone you also have the sensation that you have to pee alot. If you dont have the urge to pee alot, then thats probably not the answer.
It could be a range of things....no one online can diagnose this.
sorry...hope this helps
if the pain is in the right lower abdomine about to the waist line then it is appendicitis and very dangerous if it is, GO TO THE E.R. RIGHT NOW DONT EVEN FINISH READING THIS!!!!! if its not then it could be a hernia or something less life threatening for the most part it may be a growong pain get checked out a.s.a.p.
i have the exact same thing, which side is it on?
it might just be rumbling
if it is hard to move and it hurts to touch go see the doctor soon! you could have an appendicitis!
hope your okay babe x
I doubt its appendicitis??? its been going on for more than a week. Which side is it on? that would help. I know its weird but if its left side it could be constipation. It can hurt like crazy.
Sounds like appendicitis go get that checked out asap.

Back boilers are not very efficient but they are pretty reliable. If your boiler is a bermuda 675 or a 551 then you might struggle in getting certain parts it,if its a 552 or a 401 then parts for these appliances will be around for some years to come.Just because the boiler is old does not make it dangerous,as long as its been properly maintained over the years it will be fine.
British gas engineers have an certain onus to make extra money from their customers by offering them needless upgrades and power flushes at inflated prices.
Stick with your old boiler until you are ready to renew it.If an BG engineer condemns it then be sure to question their reasons and seek another opinion.
British gas are the biggest robbing bandits in the industry.
between 拢600-拢1000
bg have this thing about condemning boiler .ask for a reason before you go for a new boiler. and if you allow 拢2000.00 to 2500.this should be more like it .拢600.00 to 拢1000.00 for a bodge job maybe. there are corgi registered cowboys out there.(to be capita from march)
The word which comes to mind regarding anything to do with boilers and plumbing or both, is expensive.
However, fear not. Check the Baxi website and see what's on offer. If you can get terms etc.
Tell Baxi who you are and then enter the site.

I'm with you all the way. I've spent a small fortune having a completely new system put in. The old sys was put in sometime in the 1960s - we think. Cost a mint but now at least we can have the heating on for thirty minutes each day - times is hard.
Good luck and don't worry, they probably offer good terms - spread the load over a couple of years. It costs more, but the monthly payment should hopefully be on budget.
quite normal for back boilers to fail gas safety tests nowadays, your next decision is do you want convential boiler or combination boiler, the cost for either depends on what make ect, normally 500-1100 depending on make and model, as for moving upstairs, it shouldnt be a problem, you say you have gas near by, but quite possible it is not up to spec so will have to be re-run in new pipe, system must be flushed also or warranties will not apply.. any questions e-mail me. .co.uk
Depends on how big a boiler you need, But an average price for a Combi would be about 拢600 without fitting. You will need a 22mm pipe for the gas feed to the boiler

Don't forget to remember this.
Allah does answer our Du’as, but it depends on what your requests are. No Du’a is left forgotten, and most importantly, Allah does not overlook us, believers or non believers.
It is best not to rely on Allah all the time to solve your requests. We gradually turn against Allah if our Du’as are not answered but Allah knows best for you, and granting a particular Du’a concerns the providence (destiny). You should re-examine every part of your life, and see where you are going erroneous.
Why does Allah impediment our Du’as? So we can learn to have sabr (patience) in the meanwhile. Have you heard of the quote ‘good things come to those who wait’? Well, I completely agree with this quote. Patience is the key to an answered Du’a.
There are various reasons why our Du’as are left till later. It might be that Allah will wipe out your sins instead of granting your Du’a, which is good, because this prevents punishment in the hereafter or even the present life. Also, Allah could be stocking up our rewards for us in Paradise -- rather than giving us rewards in the present life. You know, the believers’ will face the most difficult obstacles in this life. The purpose of this life is to worship Allah, and Allah is testing each and every one of us. So do not be concerned and once again, remember to have serenity.
Allah knows best.
Be patient. Whatever good you will do Allah will reply you also.
I would say, ';Pray to God and ask for strength, wisdom, and guidance. Let God LEAD the way.';
Have patience, Allah is with you.
Make it sincere, and never stop trying.

Why does ISKCON advise to chant the Hare Krishna mantra when Gita says Gayatri mantra is the best?
hare krishna mantra is easy to remember and to chant, so for the people of these times, who aren't very intelligent but forgetful it might be the best. and with this mantra we ask god to let us serve him, and serving is all what we have must do in this life.
properly chanting the holy names of god we do remember him and associate with himWhy does ISKCON advise to chant the Hare Krishna mantra when Gita says Gayatri mantra is the best?
Where does the Bhagavad Gita talk about the Gayatri Mantra ? Please quote the chapter and sloka (verse).
Why does ISKCON advise to chant the Hare Krishna mantra when Gita says Gayatri mantra is the best?

The gayatri mantra is given by the spiritual master in iskcon at the second initiation and it is chanted three times a day at that point. Also the gayatri mantra can bring material things to you which is considered as temptation or unnecesarry when one is trying to be a servant of God.
Also dont forget that the iskcon line of disciplic succession (the only authentic line to krishna in kali yuga for the most part) is following after Lord Caitanya. Lord Caitanya advised we chant hare krishna to attain love of God!
You need to give refrence of Sloka to this question.
You need gayatri Matra to understand vedas. The end of vedas is the Vedanta which says Chant the holy name of the lord Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
Because it is Krishna who gives you this knowledge. After all, guru is greater than even God.

Also pls has been, have beenAnyone advise me condition of usage ';was'; %26amp; '; pls reply with example better to understand?
Has been and have been are talking about the present. It has been awhile. They have been here before.
Was is past tense. It was fun.Anyone advise me condition of usage ';was'; %26amp; '; pls reply with example better to understand?
';Was'; is the past tense of ';is';.
';Has been'; is also past tense (I think it is called the subjunctive?) and is the singular form, ';have been'; is the first person singular or the plural form.
You are really asking for a full lesson in English grammar!
I'll give you some examples:
She was ill yesterday.
She has been ill for 2 weeks.
I have been ill for 2 weeks.
The two children have been ill for 2 weeks.

I seek tips for removing stains from teeth that can be done at home effectively and easily. Please advise?
Take some baking soda and you can either mix it with peroxide or water and make a paste. When applying, I usually use a q-tip and just put it on your teeth evenly and leave it on for about 5 minutes. When using this paste, don't brush with it because this can cause the baking soda to scratch the enamel. Do not use more than 2 times a week. Be aware that this doesn't taste so good and don't swallow it. If you'd like, you can add some mint toothpaste to it to make it taste less bad.
Hope I helped.I seek tips for removing stains from teeth that can be done at home effectively and easily. Please advise?
invest in a sonicare toothbrush! seriously they work! also try using a little raw baking soda and water on your teeth istead of toothpaste. make in into like a paste.

Please advise if i could be pregnant?
I had unprotected sex on 23rd December, today iv got my period so does this now mean there is no way i could be pregnant? Please advise if i could be pregnant?
yesPlease advise if i could be pregnant?
I would say so hun.
It's unlikely you are pregnant now you have your period. But unprotected sex? Come on like pregnancy you can do something about, but all the rest you cant, like herpes, genital warts and HIV.
If it was me and I was still unsure then I'd go take a pregnancy test (they are quite cheap now, only a few quid) then see about getting into the GUM clinic or your GP's for some vaginal swabs.
I've heard that you can still bleed even if you are pregnant for the first trimester. You're probably in the clear, as I've also been told that for every act of unprotected sex, only %8 chance of getting pregnant from each time. now, this ISNT saying that you should have unprotected sex, because it is still possible to get pregnant from the craziest things! For example, not to be gross, but when I became pregnant with my son, i was having unprotected sex and we used the 'pull out' method. For those who are asking...yes! you can get pregnant from 'precum'
If you're really concerned just take a pregnancy test after your period is over! It's really the only way to know if you're pregnant or not! The packages that come with 2 tests are the best coz if you're extra skeptical about your result, then you can always get a second try at it! and if they both say the same thing. you got your answer!
Good luck and like i said i'm sure you're fine :D the only way i'd be concerned about pregnancy is if your period is different than it usually is!
nop...
Yes that does mean you are not pregnant r u trying to conceive???
Most likely your not if you have started your period but no it doesn't always mean that your not pregnant, you need to keep a close eye on your period to see if its normal, if its lighter or less than usual, your best option would be to take a test.
There is still the chance you are pregnant some women have their period during pregnancy. Best thing is to wait and see what happens.
I would guess yes that's what it means. I mean period means no pregnancy right?sunscreen

I mean period means no pregnancy right?
To what party are you to report an illegal immigrant ?? And how fast will they respond to the advise???
To who are you to report an illegal immigrant to ? And how fast will they respond to the advise ???To what party are you to report an illegal immigrant ?? And how fast will they respond to the advise???
they do go after small bunches of people especially if the person was told to self deport and failed to do so or has been charged with a crime. i wonder if karma applies to illegal entry to a country and further criminal acts on that person's part. maybe you are the one who is to deliver the comeuppance for this illegal. call ICE (immigration and customs enforcement) they're in the phone book under the federal section in the front of the book.To what party are you to report an illegal immigrant ?? And how fast will they respond to the advise???
ICE.
First, write letters to your Congressmen/women to pass a similar bill to Oklahoma's HB 1804. Hound them until something is done! Get your friends and family to do the same. It is working over 25,000 left Oklahoma before the bill was enacted. A copy of the bill can be found here in a PDF document. http://www.tulsaworld.com/webextra/conte鈥?/a>
You can call (866) DHS-2ICE or (866) 347-2423,
if they are committing a crime (besides being illegal) call your local law enforcement and report them.
You report them to immigration, but they will probably not respond. They don't go after just one or a few.How do you know they are illegal? Did you ask to see their papers?
First, why would you report an illegal immigrant and how do you know they are illegal? What good will it do you and how will it harm the person you are claiming is illegal? If it's somebodies maid do you expect that person will thank you for teaching them the right thing to do? Or that maybe a US citizen will take their place? This is the silliest topic ever. Do you have any idea the danger of getting rid of these immigrants? Take a look at the cost of living in Canada. They have such a labor shortage there that it drives the prices of EVERYthing to the point of unaffordability due to how much it costs to get anything done at all. Take a minute to rewind your thoughts. We aren't needing to keep the immigrant labor out. We need to keep out the terrorists. 99% of the people crossing into the US have one desire. To feed a family. But I say more power to you. Go ahead and rat them out because you know a US citizen that would willingly take the crap wage and crap job they were going to do.
Even if you do report them it will take forever to get anything done. Call INS or Homeland Insecurity. Hopefully by that time whomever you were attempting to ruin will be long gone. Maybe if you are lucky Karma won't come calling and God won't watch you casting judgment.
Call INS or ICE.
INS.
And they probably won't respond at all.
They don't have a large enough staff to chase every single complaint.
karma is a b i t ch
do what you have to do , thats you
but then if you start to get like hellllllllllaaaaaa bad luck , look back on this answer and say that person is right , karma is a *********

Has anyone ever vacationed in Puerta Vallarta Mexico? Can you advise or comment?
It is a beautiful typical and traditional little town in the middle of the jungle, you have a lot of beautiful beaches, there are beaches with white sand 20 minutes away from vallarta in Bucer铆as.
There is an incredible night life, tons of discos and bars.
You can go on excursions to the jungle, swim with dolphins, go to these incredible waterfalls by boat. it is a nice, hot paradise.Has anyone ever vacationed in Puerta Vallarta Mexico? Can you advise or comment?

I see 'call of duty 3' on playstation 2 dosnt advise every detail of real life military action?
Call of Duty 3 must Brainwash little kids like Francis Se Mona Gelates II. That is why I say this game should be sold for real military soldiers and little kids. please leave your say.I see 'call of duty 3' on playstation 2 dosnt advise every detail of real life military action?
What part of the word ';game'; is so hard to understand? Hollywood was never accurate about war. Computer games are just another variant of Hollywood. In other words, even the most realistic are not accurate. It is entertainment, not real life.I see 'call of duty 3' on playstation 2 dosnt advise every detail of real life military action?
of course not the 360 does it better, and plus if it was real life their would be no spawns and would fall if u would get shot in the leg and crawl for the rest of the game until they get killed and have to start a new game because there is no spawns.(if this happened no one would buy the game because it sucks) And why would they want military people to play this? it doesn't help them with any shooting skill at all, they actually play paintball out in the woods so they can learn real life shooting.
That is a video game. I'm thinking that the ';kids'; playing the game aren't the ones who are brain washed.
Yes ,Francis Se Mona Gelates II is a war criminal but what are you talking about when you say call of duty 3 is brainwashing little kids, I love that game

I want to work in New Zealand from KSA to N.Z. what Visa i will apply for .Please advise?
I am presntly looking for a job in New Zealand i am graduate of Civil Engineerng with 18 years work experience in Construction presntly working as Consultant in Riyadh. Please find me a good compny in New Zealand.I want to work in New Zealand from KSA to N.Z. what Visa i will apply for .Please advise?
Well it would be convenient if you would have put ur nationality as well, you may not be a Local Saudi, but may be living in K.S.A only for work purpose.
Anyway, you should start looking online (through some jobs websites) searching for job there. As far as visa rules are concerned, when u successfully find a job and have the offer, its ur employer's responsibility to apply for work permit %26amp; visa documentation for you. Once a work permit is issued, u will receive a full file from your employer that u can take to NZ Embassy %26amp; apply for work visa there.
Good luck.I want to work in New Zealand from KSA to N.Z. what Visa i will apply for .Please advise?
it is not our job to find you employment - It is YOUR job to find your own job.
NZ is NOT KSA. KSA has slaves and racism. I have read a large number of stories where non-arab workers in KSA are treated like slaves.
NZ citizens will NOT act as your slaves. The sooner you stop thinking like a slave owner, the better off you will be.

crate training .be patient .take it out and wait until they go then praise and reward. repeat often. keep in crate when you are away. do not give food or water a couple of hours before bed time or when you leave. put it in the crate at night and take them straight out first thing in the am.Help I need some advise on training my mini dachshund she is 6 months old and still going all over?
What she's lacking is consistency. Whenever you feed her, take her out immediately. If she ';goes'; act like it's the 4th of July and praise her like crazy. She need set ';potty'; times. Schedule them and stick to them. It will work. She's just a pup. Sometimes the owner needs training - and I don't mean that in a nasty way. We all had to start somewhere. Good Luck.sunscreen

Used in conjunction with a bit of pressure point massage and/or reflexology can help relieve a number of ailments (both physical and emotional).
take care always

What are some useful phrases in Mandarin? What would you advise learning first?
Definitely worth it to check out Chinesepod.com.
Get Dimsum language tools (free). The best flashcard, dictionary, real-time translation tool you'll come across.
Hao = Good
Bu hao = Bad (never say this about someone's products, just stick to don't want)

Americana @ Brand, Glendale

Go to City Walk and Universal Studios
Go to the Grove in Fairfax, and go to Melrose Street to shop.sunscreen
Americana @ Brand, Glendale
Beverly Center, Los Angeles
Citadel Outlets, Commerce
Brea Mall, Brea
The Block at Orange, Orange
South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa

Finding Rental property with small dog - advise needed Syd Aus?
Hello
I live in Sydney Australia. And need to find a place that will alllow pets as I have a small dog which i love and whom is very much attached to myself.
could someone tell me of website that list properties which allow pets? My dog is tolilet trained and quite but I am having trouble finding somewhere for us to stay help!
any website that you can recommend would be most welcome!Finding Rental property with small dog - advise needed Syd Aus?
http://www.realestate.com.au is a good site.
Often they won't say pets allowed but if you call them they will agree to pets esp if the dog is only small. You have a better chance with houses than with apartments too.
It can also help if you can provide a reference for your pet from a previous landlord. It will just give them piece of mind that you are a good dog owner. Also try offering more bond as security in the case of dog related damage.Finding Rental property with small dog - advise needed Syd Aus?
A website that I have recently used to find dog friendly rental properties is :
www.domain.com.au/rent
If it does not say if it is dog friendly, call the number on the side of the screen and they will answer your questions!
Good luck finding a house!!
You need to search more. These days real estate business is going beyond limits for customer satisfaction. You may get one.

I am looking for a reliable 4x4. Which is best, jeep cherokee, nissan xtrail or freelander? Can anyone advise?
i am looking to buy a used 4x4 and cant decide what one is best...has anyone any experience good or bad with the nissan x trail, jeep cherokee or landrover freelander... all with a diesel engine. All opinions greatfully recieved!!I am looking for a reliable 4x4. Which is best, jeep cherokee, nissan xtrail or freelander? Can anyone advise?
Well my brother has an 08' LR3 and that thing is a tank. Ive driven it a lot and all i hear is how amazing it is, very stable and safe yet nimble. Its fun to drive and can take one hell of a beating. On the other hand i have an 06' Cherokee SRT8 (I decided to indulge a little =]) and it is awesome. The nissan i have heard ok things about, but something about the electronic seats breaking has happened to a few people i know. Budget is everything tho, and im sure you would be completely satisfied with a landrover or cherokee.I am looking for a reliable 4x4. Which is best, jeep cherokee, nissan xtrail or freelander? i had a grand cherokee and would definately go for another if they werent so juicy. reliable and great fun to drive.lots of gadgets, easy to park for a bigger car.
my mate is a dealer and told me never touch a freelander altho the newer ones are much better than they were.
hope that helps
I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee %26amp; absolutely love it. I will never drive another vehicle unless it is a cherokee.
This is my second one this year.. the first I was in a bad accident with, where it rolled 3x. I made it out with only a scratch. It held up very well %26amp; kept me alive!
Overall I love the features it has (mine is a Special Edition) I love the sun roof %26amp; leather seats. It drives good as well. Does very well in the snow (not sure if you are in an area with snow or now..)
I definitely recommend the Jeep. I think you will be really satisfied with it.
you can get Land Rover LR3s relatively cheap right now... it's amazing what it can do off-road... not sure any of the ones you mentioned are available in the States with diesel engines...
while I love LR3s, I would stay away from the Freelander... it's too small and doesn't have enough torque to tow anything... also, it was originally brought to market in 1997 -- its just old technology now...

Passover dinner with my girlfriend need advise please...?
Im catholic but my girlfriends jewish and she invited me to her passover dinner and i said sure. I just need some tips on what i should do so i don't look completely awkward not knowing anything. ThanksPassover dinner with my girlfriend need advise please...?
Here are some suggestions:
--Dress up. Most families dress well for a Passover Seder
--The Seder is a combination of a religious service and a dinner. You will read from a book called a Haggadah, which tells the story of the Jews escape from Egypt (as told in the Biblical Book of Exodus).
--Most families have everyone at the table read part of the Haggadah, which is usually in English.
--Unless asked to, do not bring any food. You would likely bring something that can't be eaten over Passover, like cake or cookies. Even special wine is used over Passover. If you feel like you really must bring something, an arrangement of flowers would be okay.
--Just follow along. As a Christian, you will probably not find anything offensive to your faith.
--After you've done the reading, there will be a large meal. All of the food will be kosher for Passover, meaning there there won't be anything made with normal flour (plus numerous other restrictions). Bread will be replaced by Matzah. There will be wine for the adults, which is used as part of the Seder.
--Although it varies greatly by family, expect the readings to take about an hour, and for the meal to take another hour.
--There will likely also be singing, as there are many songs traditionally sung at a Seder. The words should be printed in the Haggadah you'll be given.
--Consider it an honor to have been invited. Your girlfriend is clearly showing you off--live up to her expectations!
This website will give you more information:

I was raised Catholic and my wife is Jewish and I remember my first Passover Seder with her family when we were dating. Just as the others said, you follow along by reading out of the book and following the rituals. Most people don't expect a non Jew to know what to do. With that said, what I found interesting is how the Seder rituals are very similar to parts of a Catholic Mass. Actually, the Eucharist of the Mass and the rituals around it are from the Passover Seder ( breaking the matzoh= the priest breaking the communion wafer, drinking wine etc). However, the bottom line it's a family holiday like any other and just relax and enjoy!
If you are going to cook something to bring to the dinner, it must be kosher for passover, meaning it cannot have any flour or yeast.
The passover dinner that you are referring to is called the seder(which means the order). Throughout the dinner, you will hear the story of passover being told. At the beginning of the dinner, someone will break a piece of matzah in half, and go hide one half of it somewhere in the house, and at another point during the dinner, the whole family(or sometimes just the kids) will go look for the matzah that was hidden, and the finder gets a prize. Basically, you don't really need to do much not to look stupid, just enjoy yourself and there might be foods that are new to you, so give them a try!
enjoy!
There is usually family involved, so it's just like a get together party. Except before you eat there is this prayer you say, kind of like saying grace. Then you eat and your done. =/
I remember when I was a little girl my grandparents used to hide the matzah and it would be like an Easter egg hunt. Lol. But thats a game for kids...

I need some long distance relationship advise from your view?
Hello everyone,
My girlfriend and i are together for 3 and half years now. Currently, i am serving military in taiwan and will not able to the U.S for 1 year. I am very in love with her. I care for her. I believe she is the only one for my future. Recently, she told me that she is in pain, lonely, and sad because the distance is too far and not able to talk to each other everyday.
Shall i let her go and tell her to find a boyfriend next to her so that she wont be lonely?
If i let her go, it will be a great pain for myself. Is it worth to sacrifice for her even though i really love her and i believe she is the one for me?
Thank you for your adviseI need some long distance relationship advise from your view?
There are 3.5 million fish in the sea, i'm sure you can find another one.I need some long distance relationship advise from your view?
Who are you to leave her? If she has to go, she will go. But if she loves you and wants to wait for you, she will suffer pain but continue waiting. And if she goes, why you will be in pain for a person who doesn't love you and has left.
long distaance relationships are hard some say they dont work for me they do but come with a lot of secrets and drama so if you can hold on to her expect some drama but if she loves you as much as you do she will wait i guess give a try if it does not work then let it go. everything has value to it and maybe your love is being tested right here with the distance
If she is really the ONE for you , she will wait or you will find her again when you are back , let her go and if she goes , you where not meant to be anyway , better you find out now then later
If you really love each other, think about marriage. It can be rewarding for you both. Plus, you're in the military, so as your dependent, she will be able to come with you. Meanwhile, send her a ticket to come see you, after all, long distance relationships are hare to keep going.
i understand ur pain but she cant suffer like that either....if thats the decision she wants to me then let her....it would be best for her but u cant hold her down because u scared ur feelings will get hurt....if she did love u she would wait until u get back but to tell you the truth, she's not going to wait for a whole year...if she's commited she will and just let her know how u feel about the whole matter and everything will work out ok....things happen for a reason and u just have learn from them and move on....
i love her now
but to far i am
i love her now
but we be together again
my friend wrote this poem, she loves love poems.
anyway,
what makes you think that she wants to break up. if shes hurting so much just with you gone, think about if she doesn't even have you anymore.
that would just kill me.
maybe she is just telling you how she feels. i mean if she was talking to you on the phone and says, ';oh hey hunny I'm haven a great time with you thousands of miles away for a year'; it would be pretty weird.
if she truly loves you, shell stay with you without hesitation.
but if she goes, just to think if you marred her all the paper work you would have to wright out. oh and all the money you spend, terrible. i know my mothers been divorced 3 times.
well i hope every ting turns out all right.

cliche i know but..... if you love something set it free if it comes back it is yours if it doesnt it was never meant to be
try n increase d communication...........it's d best method to heal a relationship.......
If she really is the one she will not let you go OR she will let you go and quickly realize that she does love you. If you let her go and she doesn't come back she doesn't truely love you.
It is up to you!
no don't let her go
your sacrificing you life in Taiwan you shouldn't have to give up your love too. if she loves you as much as you love her, she'll wait for you. long distance relationships are very hard but if you are really in love, it will work.
Come on GI, I am sure that there is going to be a time that you will be able to do some travel. You can get a military flight free to Japan or Hawaii. Work out a way to meet some where. There is an Army hotel in Hawaii that has great rates and an excellent private beach. This will give her some hope and something to help with her time. She will need passports etc. Viet Nam is so pro American now and are begging for American tourists. Use you military mind and figure out a way to get 'er done. You will both have a blast. She seems worth the effort.sunscreen

Jupiter Transit effect on me please advise?
hi all,
My details:
DOB:12/20/1978
TOB: 7:52 AM
Place: Pune
What will be the detail effect of Jupiter transit on me?
I am looking for marriage/career growth etc
Please reply.Jupiter Transit effect on me please advise?
pretti b,
Jupiter is currently transiting your first house, which would have the effect of making you more likely to take on risk, be optimistic and believe in your innate ability to take on the odds. Jupiter was in your 8th house trine Mercury when you were born, indicating that you have presence of mind and spirit under pressure and see opportunities in challenges. This attitude is now pressed into action in the first house of immediate experience, challenges to your will and confrontations. It's unlikely you would fold because of competition. In fact, people tend recognize that you do well under crisis.
But your Ascendant is in Capricorn, so you should look at what's Saturn is doing, not Jupiter. Saturn is transiting over the Moon's North Node in Virgo. It will turn retrograde in early January and finally come back to the Node in early September, 2009. The North Node symbolizes where you will grow in this lifetime. Saturn represents ambition, duty and integrity. (all very sober pursuits) It looks like you need to put some energy into making a commitment in pursuing some skill or developing some specialized area of knowledge (Node in Virgo) that will pave the way for your ambition. Saturn's retrograde motion suggests you need to reconsider your goals during this retrograde period. It's also possible for you to make contact with an older or more experienced person who can play a mentor role for you.
This all hinges on your Capricorn Ascendant that wants to be regarded as experienced, respected and well-regarded. But it comes at a price. Saturn usually demands a seriously vigorous effort. Be prepared to focus on essentials only. Sudden changes in career situation are possible now. Romance involves many unclear issues now, but holds the promise of deep, unselfish love. Proceed with care.
