There is an incredible night life, tons of discos and bars.

Yes. If you want clear, clean water then DONT go to Puerto Vallarta go to Cozumel or Cancun.

Yes, I spend some time each year in PV and I highly recommend giving it a try. Our first couple of years we stayed in PV and then began to stay North in the town of Bucerias which is a short drive into PV. What ever you want to do on your vacation you will find it there in PV.
